Spot-wear is a private and independent company, which collects clothes, shoes and textiles for reusage and recycling. We are a family owned company, that have exsisted since 2015. We are working towards bringing the waste of textiles to a minimum through repurposing and recycling.

One of the most pressing issues of the modern society is the stress and strain that is put on the environment. This is why it is so important for us to be one of the frontrunners, when it comes to handling and redistribute textiles in an environmentally friendly way.

What we do

We collect clothes, which is then distributed to our partners in Poland, Netherlands and Belgium. What this means is, that we collect and provide untouched original clothes, shoes and textiles of high quality from different areas in Denmark.

 

These companies are specialized in sorting the clothing into different qualities. This means that the reusable clothing articles can be shipped to and sold in Africa and other parts of the world. The rest, which is still dry and clean, but cannot be worn, is then sold to companies and industries, who specializes in upcycling and repurposing of textiles.

 

This means that the clothes collected, as much as possible, is being recycled in one way or another, and only a small percentage is burned. This improves the footprint we leave on the environment.

 

Spot-wear also has partnerships with municipalities and sports clubs, which means the business creates jobs for people struggling on the labor market and furthermore supports local sports clubs.

 

The volumes of reusable and recyclable textiles are ever increasing, and because of that we are always looking for new partnerships. If you are looking for a new reliable distributor of original clothes and shoes, then we would very much like to hear from you.

 

Spot-wear expanded in 2020 into also including new unused clothes. This means that clothes that the stores haven’t sold at the end of each season is being redistributed to other regions in Europe.
